When we first purchased the property the lakefront was completely undeveloped and in its natural state, which meant that it was filled with weeds, wild blackberries and tons of rocks. What started as a desire to have a few flower beds become a bit of an obsession that continues to this day and the gardens continue to evolve as time goes by. With running water features coming from the lake and flowing through the garden providing the soothing sounds of running water. The flowers are all used to make fresh floral arrangements in the rooms and for the tables throughout the summer season.
